We are ideally situated in a valley between the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. Less than 300 metres away is the medieval village of Meyrals which boasts a boulangerie, post office, 3 restaurants and a bar.

The surrounding area has a wealth of activities to suit everybody. Less the six kilometres away beside Les Eyzies is the Font de Gaume, home to some of the world's most famous prehistoric cave paintings with the equally famous caves of Lascaux being a further 20 minutes drive away.

The bastide towns with their marvellous medieval buildings and the chateaux impossibly perched at the tops of craggy rocks will keep the most ardent sightseer in a state of bliss. The more sporting amongst us will appreciate the many activities available including canoeing, rockclimbing, walking, cycling and cave exploration to name but a few.

And of course for everybody there are the gastronomic delights of Perigord Noir, home to the renowned foie gras, duck confit, truffles, walnuts and wines of the region. If your preference is to relax and do nothing, the peace and quiet to be found beside our pool in the warm sunshine is the place to do it.

All 5 gites are available for rental throughout the year. All have individual terrace areas with garden furniture and use of the 6X12m (20X40ft) pool.
